Cristiano Delpriori

He graduated in viola at the “G. Rossini” of Pesaro, under the guidance of maestro Giorgio Giorgi and in then with maestro Roberto Molinelli. He perfected himself with Dora Bratckova and later with Piero Farulli, the great violist of the Quartetto Italiano. Since 1994 he has been a stable member of FORM, the Marche Philharmonic Orchestra, alternating the role of first viola at the concertino.

He also collaborated with the La Fenice Orchestra of Venice and as first viola with the International Orchestra of Italy, the Eur Symphony Orchestra and the Musical Chapel of the Basilica San Francesco in Ravenna. During these years he has collaborated with some of the most famous conductors and soloists on the international scene: D. Oren, G. Kuhn, D. Renzetti, V. Ashkenazy, U. Ughi, S. Accardo, G. Kremer, S.A. Krylov. He has accompanied singers such as L. Pavarotti, P. Domingo, J. Carreras, R. Bruson, L. Nucci, R. Raimondi, C. Gasdia, M. Devia, C. Bartoli, A.C. Antonacci.
He took part in tours abroad in the most famous theatres, concert halls and international festivals such as: the Royal Opera House in Muscat of Oman, the Royal Albert Hall in London, the Opera National de Bordeaux, the Mozarteum in Salzburg, the Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde (Musikverein) in Vienna, the Hammamet International Festival, the Snow & Symphony Festival in St. Moritz, the Jerusalem Peace Concert.

In recent years he has dedicated himself to the study and performance practice of the baroque and classical repertoire on original sources and instruments, also undertaking the study of the viola d’amore and perfecting himself with the greatest specialists such as: E. Gatti, S. Marcocchi, A Bartoletti, A. Tampieri, E. Onofri, L. Giardini, S. Scholtz, F. Biondi.

He played with Enrico Gatti’s Aurora Ensemble, the AuserMusici orchestra as part of the Opera Barga festival, the Canalgrande Adriatic Baroque Orchestra and its quartet.
